The life story of The Voice Kids Grand Champion Lyca scored the highest rating of MMK this 2014 after beating the 33% rating of an episode aired last March 8. The longest running drama anthology in Asia topped Saturday tv viewing last August 16 with 38.4% national rating. The major competitor, Magpakailanman, garnered 12.8% rating only and placed 9th overall. Completing the top 5 were other Kapamilya shows: Wansapanataym, Home Sweetie Home, Mga Kwento Ni Marc Logan, and PBB All In. Pepito Manaloto and Marian shared the 5th spot with PBB All In.
Inspite of the high rating posted, the Lyca Gairanod episode failed to beat the 40.9% rating of Venus Raj life story episode last July 21, 2012, which up to date, holds the highest rating posted for MMK since Kantar Media started doing the panel survey on 2009.
