According to data from Kantar Media, the first episode of “My App Boyfie” scored a national TV rating of 29.5%, or almost 13 points higher compared to its rival program in GMA “Marian” (16.6%).
Aside from the national TV ratings, James, Nadine, and Dominic’s “Wansapanataym” special also conquered social networking sites such as Twitter, where the hashtag “My App Boyfie Pilot Episode,” became a worldwide trending topic because of the positive tweets by netizens who were all excited for the premiere of the unique love story.
Meanwhile, in the continuation of “Wansapanataym Presents My App Boyfie” this weekend (October 4 and 5), Anika’s (Nadine) life begins to change now that she is finally going to experience what it’s like to have boyfriend through Jowa (James). What will Anika do when she falls in love with her “app boyfriend?” Will she be forced to delete him once Jowa brings trouble to her and her family?
