Philippines Box Office: Jack the Giant Slayer tops Philippines Weekend Box Office

     Jack the Giant Slayer is an American fantasy-adventure film based on the fairy tales, "Jack the Giant Killer" and "Jack and the Beanstalk". The film is directed by Bryan Singer and stars Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy and Ewan McGregor.

The movie premiered on February 28, 2013 in Philippine cinemas. In the period of February 27–March 3, 2013, Jack the Giant Slayer topped the charts with P51,815,716 beating other debuting films: Silver Linings Playbook and Stoker.
